Lanzarote: La Geria Vineyards Hiking Tour

1.Lanzarote: La Geria Vineyards Hiking Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 182 reviews · 4 hours · from $55Our pick

Walk 9 kilometers through La Geria with guides such as Raquel and José, learning how farmers turned volcanic ash into vineyards. The route reaches the crater area of Montaña Gaida, then ends at Bodega Rubicón with Dry Volcanic Malvasia, bread, and cheese.

“Fantastic guides, really enjoyable experience, i highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of my holiday after a disappointing hotel and in an area very much unsuited to my active and simple lifestyle, so this was a extremely welcome escape and a chance to walk and see the 'real' lanzarote. 5 stars and run by people who REALLY CARE. Do it!”

“I love outdoor activities, and this one was nice! It was beautiful, and our driver was so kind and lovely. Our guide on the glacier was kind and knowledgeable. In terms of experiences, it was cool. It didn’t knock my socks off (maybe because I prefer self-guided tours and the hike on the glacier was shorter than I would have liked), but it was neat. Lots of people could have managed the trip, so it’s super accessible.”

“Everything! Fantastic day - our guide Francisco was brilliant - took us up to quieter craters where it wasn’t at all crowded. We then had great fun lava running. He was also really knowledgeable and full of facts and information about the volcano and its many eruptions. We then went for the food and wine tasting which was also excellent - a lovely little winery and the people were lovely - we got to taste allsorts - pistachio cream remains my favourite! I could not recommend this trip more. Picked up and dropped off from our hotel too. Loved it.”
